Neighborhood Dealing

We aren't huge garage salers but we do love a deal. So, when a neighborhood on our walking route recently had a sale, we couldn't help but stop by.

There were some interesting odds and ends for sale such as this giant doll-bride (eep):

But there were also a few little items that we thought we could find a home for. The first was a geode. We just can't help ourselves when we find these earthy gems!

The big purchase of the day, however, was a set of three big mirrors. Each of them has an asian motif. One with a bonsai, the other with a geisha and the third with a dojo. We aren't sure what we'll do with the latter two but since we love some good tree symbolism, we popped the first up over the entryway chest we refinished last year.

Here are a few shots:

Mind the music room reflection.

A little detail.
Ta-da!
