Mantel of the month: Easter

Here's our mantel, all done up for the Easter holiday! I kept it very simple, using a light palate of blue, green and white. As usual, here are some detail shots.

Mr. Rabbit there is something I bought last year from one of my favorite shopping catch-alls, Target. The little chicks, which were named Tweet and Retweet by some recent and awesome house guests, are from my Easter basket last year as well. And yes, my mom still gives us an Easter basket every year, and they are full of J. Edward's Fine Chocolates and amazing!

And on the other side, my favorite frame and a fun Easter printout along with some yarn balls that I wrapped in wool roving for a mossy look.  Pretty easy and simple.

In the middle, I just put a small bouquet of blooms from our backyard. I LOVE when the purple Muscari comes up! I also added a little Lamb's Ear and a bit of fern that is beginning to bloom.

To finish it off, I added some soft blue bows to the vases on the end and called it a day!
