In the kitchen: Game time

That's right. Super Bowl 46 is upon us and it's right here in my beloved town of Indianapolis! The energy here is fantastic and there is so much to do to get in the spirit! In anticipation of this weekend, I thought I'd share one of my favorite game time snacks. My sister was the one who taught me how to make these and I have to say, they are pretty delicious.

Bacon wrapped chicken & Devils on Horseback towards the back.

What you'll need:
4 large chicken breasts
2  Packs of bacon (16 oz)
Roughly 1 1/2 cups brown sugar

The plan:
Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Cube chicken breast in 1 inch squares, wrap with a piece of bacon and place on a metal cooling rack that is set in a parchment or foil lined jelly roll pan. Sprinkle generously with brown sugar and bake until dark and crispy. One they have cooled add your toothpicks and then serve! I sometimes add spicy mustard for an extra kick!

A piece of advice- lay off these before trying out the zip-line. They are a bit heavy. And yes, there is a zip-line through our Super Bowl Village.
