Fall is a little melancholy but maybe that's why warm chili, bonfires, and hot toddies make us feel so good. To me, it's like that really wonderful feeling of climbing into a freshly made bed after a long, busy day where you are totally relaxed before falling asleep. It's nature's last preparation before hibernating over the winter.
It's also a time of harvest and being grateful for all we've gathered so far through out the year and where the buzz of holiday anticipation becomes more frequent and energizing.
So, what is in store this Autumn over here at RH? Lots of the usual with some fall twists! Next week, keep an eye out for a fall checklist to add to the collection. There will also be lots of great butternut squash recipes (you know it's my favorite!) along with a few other squashes in the mix. I've got some tasty tailgating recipes, with help from Ben, along with some fun fall party ideas. It's going to be awesome and I can't wait to share it all with you, my readers, who I couldn't be more thankful for!
