Star-struck

There are two people I get pretty star-struck around. My ultimate favorite singer/celebrity Tony Bennett and one of my very favorite artists, K.P. Singh. K.P. Singh is a renowned artist who resides right here in Indianapolis. He is not only a master of pen and paper but also of the spirit and inspiration. His artworks are beautiful creations depicting some of the world's most loved places but he offers much more. He is an involved community member who bridges cultural ties through his writings and wide embrace of our diverse make up.

So, when I saw him yesterday at the statehouse you can imagine how excited I was. I naturally made a bit of a mumbling fool of myself before pulling it together to get a photo. But I was pretty psyched either way!

I'll leave you all with one of my favorite quotes from Mr. Singh:

Our ability to dream big, imagine in living color, and think in grand terms; our passion to overcome past limitations and boundaries; human ingenuity and innovation to fulfill cherished ambitions and awesome fantasies; and deep urge to unravel the great mysteries of life are the among the greatest gift from the Divine.
