Mantel of the Month: December, Christmas style!

Behold, our mantel this month. We used the same wreath we hung on our mirror last year and out traditional stocking hangers but added a few new (to the mantle) pieces.

In the tall vases, I used curly willow from our wedding and sprayed it white. I then wrapped the glass in some twine and  stole some berries from a garland.

On the left, I decided to add to the natural feel and added a few birch candles from our wedding.

On the right, a printable from Pinterest!

And in the middle a hand-me-down tray full of glittery pine cone ornaments I found at Goodwill.

To make things extra festive I ran a strand of white lights throughout the mantel. This worked particularly well because out tree was in a different room this year. The lights gave us the same feeling of the tree without taking up the space!
