Last week, Ben and I had so much fun posing for Rachel Vanoven's portfolio building workshop! We were her bride and groom models (let's use the term "models" loosely) for the evening and got to hang out with her and her photo class in the Indianapolis Museum of Art's 100 Acre Park. Even with the mosquitos we had a wonderful time. Plus, I got to wear my wedding dress again bringing my price-per-wear down substantially!
The class started with new-born and child photography earlier in the day and then ended up with a wedding workshop at the end. I'd totally suggest checking out Rachel's workshops if you're looking to build your portfolio and learn from a real pro!
Here are a few of my favorite snapshots from the day:
Isn't Rachel's work utterly divine? We think so too! Be sure to check out her blog and website for more photos of the evening and the rest of her fabulous work. Her newborn and child photography work gives even the hardest of hearts "baby fever". I'm sure of it.
Also, I must give a special shout out to my own fabulous place of work, Lilly Lane, for the gorgeous bouquet. Owner and designer Becky Ruby sure knows how to make 'em! After getting married in the fall I totally relished carrying a bouquet of springy tulips and hydrangeas around for the shoot!
Like I said, Ben and I had such a great time helping the class out and to be honest, it was kind of nice to be dressed up like on our wedding day again. I think it did our hearts some good!
