Clearly, my top choice would be my soon-to-be husband however, rules are rules so here's who I cam up with.
Tony Bennet
This would be my #1 choice (after B!) without even having to think about it. I have been following this classy cat for years and am one of his biggest fans. And because my aforementioned and amazing fiance is the best, he took me to St. Louis last June to see him and swoon over his smooth tunes. Let me tell you what. Tony is over 80 and STILL puts on one of the most amazing shows you will ever see. Just him, a mic and a three piece band. He is truly an entertainer and legend of my heart.
Next up:
Vice President Joe Biden
Yeah, that's right, another old guy. Really though, I would be thrilled to spend just one hour with him to pick his brain on foreign policy and the art of the perfect smile. Tell me that smile wouldn't be the perfect accessory to an Oscar's gown. I really do admire him though. He has found the balance of being able to eloquently prove a point yet stand up for himself and level with people that challenge him.
Finally:
Ellen DeGeneres
Tell me Ellen wouldn't be one of the most fun dates of your entire life. Do it. I dare you. She is someone you just want to be your best friend forever. Plus, how much fun would it be to dance down the red carpet with her? Man, she is awesome and could be the perfect date for any occasion, not just the Oscars.
