They are made of material from the former home of the Indianapolis Colts, the RCA Dome. Growing up, the RCA Dome was one of my favorite parts of the Indianapolis skyline. Probably because it looked like a fluffy pillow that would be fun to jump on or resembled a big marshmallow, something of which I was also a huge fan of. Well, the pillow-mallow lives on and has become something more grown up and functional.

These totes can be purchased at Mass Ave's own Silver in the City/At Home in the City. And, the best part? Sixty percent of all the proceeds are donated to Indy Parks Department! The project was developed by People for Urban Progress (PUP) who plan to help Indy Parks use the funds to install shade structures and pavilions throughout the city that are also made of RCA Dome roof material?
Recycling bits of Indianapolis nostalgia to make both chic totes and urban beautification? Sign me up!!
